Microsoft Outlook is the main email app that you use within school. It can allow you to save, reply to, compose or forward emails. It can also allow for much more effective organisation, planning and collaboration.

HOW DO I NAVIGATE THE SIDE PANEL?
The side panel in Outlook has lots of options open to you.

TOP LEFT HAND SIDE
The 9 DOT SQUARE allows you access to all the O365 Apps at any time The Three lines allows you to bring up or minimise the side menu. |

Compose a messageYou can Compose a new Message by simply clicking the + New Message tab at the top
InboxThis contains all your recent emails. The number will record the emails not as yet read.
SENT ITEMS Has all the emails you have sent. This is useful for reference but can be deleted otherwise DRAFTS These are emails you have began but not sent DELETING GROUPS You can delete whole folders by right clicking your mouse over the folder you wish to empty. Obviously choose carefully which folder you wish to empty |

At the bottom of the side panel menu you can find four symbols. Each of these has different roles which can help with organisation.
The first is for Outlook emails The Second is for Outlook Calendar - this allows you to enter events and appointments and should be synced up with your iPad People is the third . This allows you to create and manage contacts and groups. [See Creating Groups below] Tasks is the Fourth. It is superb for organisation. We all know how teachers love checklists ; this allows you to create them and link them up to your calendar |

Go to PEOPLE tab
Go to New Contact and Click New Contact list Add your details of your GROUP NAME Add the emails you wish to be in the Group Click Create |
