Google Meets is one of the favoured ways to run live lessons with students. It runs very much like any of the other platforms but it is embedded into Google Classroom with a dedicated Meet link offered on the top banner. You can have Live face to face lessons (Or face to letters lessons! as they tend to be sometimes! ) You can present your screen or a PowerPoint very easily. You can change backgrounds, mute or turn off video link depending on your preferences. You can also record your lesson using Meets.
Hopefully I have covered many of these features below. There is a guide I have produced for this. It was at the very start of using it but hopefully it is comprehensive. i have been using it with my students for several weeks and we have found it very straight forward with no issues
