Touch Screen - Your iPad is one large touch screen. Simply tap your finger on any icon on your screen to interact with apps and brush your finger in any direction to navigate around your iPad.
Apps - The apps on your iPad are displayed as a large grid on your Home screen. As you download more apps from the App Store, they will be added to your Home screen. You can tap on any app to open it.
Home Button - When you're finished with an app, press the Home Button to always be brought back to your Home screen.
Camera - The camera on the front of the iPad is mainly used for FaceTime/Skype calls, as well as taking all of your important selfies.

Lock Button - When you are finished using your iPad, press the Lock Button to turn off your screen and put your iPad to sleep. Your iPad case may do this for you automatically when you close it over!
Microphone - This small microphone is useful for any apps which can use your voice such as FaceTime/Skype. It also adds audio when you record a video.
Headphones - You can plug any pair of headphones into your iPad to listen to music or watch videos privately.
Camera - You can use the camera on the back of your iPad to take photos and record videos.
Silent Switch - This switch toggles on/off Silent mode, which will make sure that any incoming emails or other noises won't play out loud. This can be changed in your settings to a 'Rotation Lock' - See how here
Volume - Turn your iPad volume up or down
Speaker - Audio from your iPad will play out of this speaker
Charger - You can plug your charger or any other accessory into your iPad using the 'Lightening' connection at the bottom of your iPad.
