You’ve created a class and your class code is ready to go – now it’s time to set up an assignment!
Tap on your class, and then tap the edit menu (wrench) |

Then tap on 'New Asignment +':

Type in your assignment’s title, set a due date and tap Save:

Now that you have created an assignment, it’s time to begin uploading some work!

The shared folder acts as a container where you can store resources that are seen by all students. With a few taps, all of your students can receive their work at the same time.
The shared folder appears at the very top left of your student list, right below the class title. |

Tap the '+' button on the top right to see a list of ways to add files to the shared folder.
Camera and Photo Library let you take a photo of something for students to work on. For example, you could take a photo of a piece of work that has already been printed out on paper. Comment lets you add written instructions and messages to your class, and Voice Note lets you do the same with your voice. Grade isn't available in our version of Showbie. File lets you add files from your Google Drive account. Note - if you want your students to be able to fill in worksheets on their iPad within Showbie, you have to upload your documents as PDF rather than .doc, for example. You can open your documents in Microsoft Word on your computer and click File > Save As > PDF to achieve this. |
